ICE THERAPY: Reduce swelling and discomfort and aid recovery from birth
HEAT THERAPY: Use before perineal massage or during labour on the perineum to reduce the risk of tears during pushing.
Pliable when frozen, reusable, easy to heat and cool
To cool – place in the freezer (without cover), for at least two hours.
To heat – place in the microwave (without cover), for 10 to 15 seconds, if needed, heat for an additional five seconds, in intervals, until the desired temperature is achieved. Place in a cover and place on the perineum.
Do not use for longer than 20 minutes application. Clean with mild soapy water after each use.
Covers can be washed in the washing machine on a cold wash. Do not tumble dry.
